Which Outlook.com version do I choose

Because this extension supports both the outlook.live.com and outlook.office.com services, you will need to decide which service you need to use.

In most cases, you will be using a personal email account on outlook.live.com to send emails. This service is used for the standard email addresses provided by Outlook.com ending in @hotmail.com, @hotmail.ca, @live.com, @live.ca or @outlook.com.

If you have an email address that uses the Outlook.com webmail platform but is attached to a custom domain name, you will likely be using the organization option for outlook.office.com accounts. Generally, these accounts are only provided by businesses, organizations or schools.

Finding out which account you are using

The easiest way to find what type of account you are using is to load your inbox. Once you login to your account and are viewing your inbox, check the URL located in the Firefox address bar. The URL will either start with outlook.live.com (Personal) or outlook.office.com (Organization).

Once you know which account you are using, you can set it as the default on the extension options page. If you are using multiple email accounts that are not all using the same service, you can select the Always ask me option to see a selection menu each time you link an email link.
