pypi #91
Comments
I'm not experienced with PyPi, but I do know that the webthing-python library is already hosted there https://pypi.org/project/webthing/ @tim-hellhake Does it make sense to publish the add-on library there too, or is it like the NodeJS library which says it should never be directly added as a dependency? (I understand we've recently broken that rule for some of WebThingsIO's own add-ons). |
thank you, i probably just wasn't able to find the right name ;-)

@arist0v FYI The existing PyPi package I linked to is for https://github.com/WebThingsIO/webthing-python which is for building web things with Python, as opposed to this repo which is for building add-ons for WebThings Gateway with Python. |
thank you, i'm building an add-ons, and on some test outside the gateway i
need this ;-)

in fact it would really be nice to have gateway-addon-python in pypi since
i work with docker on my laptop before pushing it to my raspberry pi, so it
would be nice if you could link gateway-addon-python to pypi.
