Games not downloading aka, Missing executable

Several games including BRAID, WAKING MARS and SNAPSHOT will not install or download. When you select install, the install information dialogue box pops up but it does not have any information. If you proceed, steam acts as if the game has installed properly, but nothing has downloaded. When you try to launch the game, a message pops up saying the executable is missing.

I hope it's usefull listing the games that don't work.
I have the same problem with the following titles:

• oil rush
• rochard
• VVVVVV
• dustforce
• space pirates versus zombies
