Is there any way to specify a top level URL to the source files/line numbers that are output in the generated docs for functions/attributes? I'd love to make that linkable so I could say search for a function, click the source link and have it take me to that file on github where I could also see the implementation.

The next version of TypeDoc will automatically detect GitHub projects and link the source files accordingly, see #26. Is it that what you mean?
