TALXIS Utility upgrade - Generic SQL error

Hey guys,

for some time already I struggle with upgrading Utility on PCT18002 as it hasn't been redeployed since the first Utility deployment (version 1.0.0.0).

The Utility pipeline shows Generic SQL error for TALXIS.Appps.Environment.Utility.Model solution

When I tried to import it manually, Uninstall and Import actions fail.

Uninstall with this error message:

"The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "view_attribute_attribute". The conflict occurred in database "db_crmcoreemea_20220317_02392315_dce4", table "MetadataSchema.ViewAttribute", column 'AttributeId'. The statement has been terminated."

Import with this one:

"Solution manifest import: FAILURE: Holding solution TALXISBuildingsUtilityModel_Upgrade already exists."

In classic mode, the pending Upgrade solution is visible.

So according to this link, I tried the Apply Solution Upgrade button for the original solution, but it shows this error:

I tried to delete the Upgrade solution and import it again, but it didn't help either.

Finally, I found this potential solution, but not really sure if it's applicable and if so, how to do it..

Fixed by MS Support, I was told it's a known issue.
When you enter window.FeatureControl to F12 Console in classic solution view, you'll find there FCB.EnableAllSolutionsForSmartDiffForUpgrade. The value there was true - what MS Support team did is that they ran a script which changed the boolean to false.
Even the support agent didn't know the script, so he said it can be only resolved from the MS side.
In case you you encounter this issue, create a MS ticket.
