A problem in the Contributions.txt #13
Comments
There are different aspects to be considered in modeling:
* Sensor model: the perspective of the sensor should be according to the plan. Adding strong diffuse reflection to the object for this step helps orientation. The definition of the sensor model can be compared with test pov-ray models in the RaySAR package. Copy & paste from there and adapt the point of view of the sensor.
* Object model: the definition of the object model should be according to the plan. Also here strong diffuse reflection added to the surface allows to check the object appearance better in rendered test images.

Betreff: [StefanJAuer/RaySAR] A problem in the Contributions.txt (Issue #13)
Respected Sir:
When using this software to simulate a sphere, I found that the second column in the Contributions.txt is different from the simulation condition. The range coordinate grows very fast and only a little of data (Basically distributed in the first 100 rows) in the fourth column is not zero.
This is my data:

This is my code:

I don't know how to set the parameters to solve this problem , could you please give me some advice?

Thanks for your advice! I read your document and changed the picture size to 1000*1200 then I could get the right results. |
Great. I am glad reading that RaySAR can support your work 😊.
