Introduction
Topic: Transport via solar winds to inter planetary transport gateway and beyond
Start: Earth
Finish: Any planet but initially Mars
This will be a phone application where you input your start point and end point which will work out the optimum journey direction and time. Initially we will look at a journey to Mars but will expand to further planets going forward. We are assuming that we are able to use solar or beam driven sails
When we are trying to arbitrate the journey to Mars from Earth at its simplest we must be aware that we would need to understand when the optimum period for the Earth and Mars are aligned.
This may give us the shortest distance but not the safest optimum journey.
The first consideration is the safest journey so we need to understand the risk profile so for instance sun induced dangers like solar flares or potential stationary dangers. This information would be used between our source and destination to therefore provide an enhanced experience.
The approach would be modular and as better sources become available, better transport and a greater understanding of dangers would improve the accuracy of the application. The application would connect to all data sources and use these to improve the results so we will build on existing information and data sources and by integrating these together will provide us something greater than the sum of the components.
Considerations include but are not limited to solar winds, solar flares, interplanetary transport network, and gravitational assist, electromagnetic factors.
Uses
The information has scope to be included as part of planetary journey planning, simulation and leisure activities.

LIKE GRAVITY AND FRICTION and their relation to time. Information on SOLAR FLARES. GRAVITY. COSMIC RAYS. RADIATION. PREDICT WHEN THERE IS EXTRA RADIATION OR SOLAR FLARES.
