If QlrBrowser is started with a rootpath which is too deep then qlrmanager is never loaded. If you then add a valid rootpath then

qgis-qlrbrowser/src/QlrBrowser/qlrbrowser.py

Line 189 in 011c32c

self.qlrmanager.unload()
will throw an exception.
