Tested without issue. This PR updates the recommended Debian 10 version to use (from the 2021-05-28 version to 2023-05-03 version). I've confirmed the manual build steps to create a Raspberry PI OS based image for development works as expected. |

I've gone through the manual installation instructions and documented the known issues to make it clear where future developers should not deviate from the guide.
There is also an issue with compiling on a system that has 1GB of RAM (or less), which I worked around in the guide by adding swap space.
Having this guide be clear will prevent new developers from getting discouraged by having things not work when they're just trying to get started.
