About the Repository

This repository was designed as a sandbox environment for students who want to feel comfortable working with git and GitHub.

About this Release

This release records the state the repository was in at the end of the video lecture Wout made for his students in the Digitising Cultural Heritage Materials course at the University of Borås. The way in which the repository changed from The Camera Ready Version (v2.0.0) to this one can be witnessed in the accompanying video lecture, especially from minute 19 onwards.

This release records the state the repository was in at the start of the video lecture Wout made for his students in the Digitising Cultural Heritage Materials course at the University of Borås. This is a major departure from the previous releases, which were conceived for the sake of the students of the Bootcamp course at the University of Antwerp's MA in Digital Text Analysis.

This version introduces the following major changes w.r.t. v1:

  • The repository includes a series of pizzas submitted by the students who attended the residential week in Borås
  • The repository has been reorganised as the pizzas were moved into a system of subfolders
  • The repository now conforms to the community standards by including a license, contribution information, issue templates, and a code of conduct.
  • The repository is now accompanied by a wiki that introduces the lesson and provides low threshold instructions for anyone who wishes to become acquainted with git and GitHub.
  • The pizzas that were already present in previous versions have been modified slightly (sometimes multiple times) for the benefit of the video lecture.
