I suspect it's either because processes aren't being completely shut down / aren't launching in a timely fashion, or because the machine is otherwise being really slow. (Maybe the xvfb stuff?)

Not sure how to address / improve yet... but will think on it.

I also just upgraded to a new computer. So I'm not opposed to making my old machine the build computer rather than that DRC laptop.
