Let me help you get started on your image audio conversion journey! PLEASE SEE PAGES FOR OTHER INFO REGARDING THE PROGRAM AND ITS FEATURES.
Be aware this Wiki is made with V1 and onward in mind; v0.2 is deprecated, and lacks many features mentioned in this Wiki. See this v0.2 README if you need info for v0.2.
Aside from a few pre-made files in this repository, plus a few online, if you really want to make use of this program, you'll need audio files that contain an image/television signal on them. The easiest way to get an audio conversion of an image would be to use the Baird Encoder program, as that can convert image files to a .wav
file in a similar fashion to a mechanical television.
(The following is a layout that's been adapted in v1)
For directory settings, leave blank to use default directories. Please format your directory according to your OS, but regardless, ALL directories must end with a "/". (/drive/folder/mystuff/ - For example.)
If you wish to have the program search a specific directory for your audio or text files, please fill this string out.
If you wish to have the program output the images to a specific directory, please fill this string out. It is highly recommended that you do this for multi-frame converting, where you'll have numerous image outputs.
The output name of your image file. All image files are stored as bitmap (.bmp) images. (outName = 'Johnny'
would be output as Johnny.bmp
)
The name of your input audio or text file. Please include the extension when filling this string out.
Currently, this program only supports .txt or .wav files.
