Bug description

After I patch Instagram app,story ads still appear.Because I don't need Map Sticker feature,so I choose old Instagram version(313.0.0.26.328)

How can I patch APK with computer? I try to repatch Instagram(313.0.0.26.328)and latest version(349.3.0.42.104),the ads still appear.Here is the video↓

You can find instructions in the CLI repo here on GitHub, but if you're unfamiliar with command prompt then I would not bother.

Try patching the latest Instagram as previously mentioned. Edit: I overlooked that you already tried.

I overlooked that you already tried the latest. In that case it must be something with the hide ads patch and something different with your Instagram account or region.

Will have to wait until someone that's familiar with fixing Instagram can reproduce the issue.

I think I can share with you how I discover this problem,maybe it can help you to find&fix the bug.
Yesterday,I wanted to update Instagram revanced,so I used adb to pull out apk,then repatched lastest Instagram revaned.After that I found this issue,I used adb command install previous pull out apk,still had ads.

You should not use adb to get the source apk.

You probably patched the app twice, which can cause all kinds of issues.

This no longer sounds like an issue with the patches but an issue with how you installed.

I actually faced this issue since i created my old issue here #3614
My bad it was wrong screenshot.
My newest report is i patched instagram version 349.3.0.42.104 from APKMIRROR, and installed it freshly. Then scrolling home feeds and i get ads appear.

See screenshot above, it's actually random ads, tap 3-dot menu on right corner then see it's instagram ads appear.

This no longer sounds like an issue with the patches but an issue with how you installed.

I found another phone I had installed Instagram revanced before,this time I used "apk analyze" to export apk,then install to my phone,the ads magically disappeared.
So maybe is the latest patch issue?

For me, sometimes the first ad in my feed is not hidden but the rest are.
