Rename allow.cartesian to allow.i.dups? #914

The limit on the resulting number of rows (was max(nrow(x),nrow(i)) and now nrow(x)+nrow(i)) was just to catch huge allocations from (likely) misspecified joins, always due to dups in i's join columns.
Now that i is checked for duplicates directly in a very efficient way (thanks to Arun), we can just simplify the argument and do away with the limit altogether. This'll be cleaner since currently if there are dups in i, it may or may not need allow.cartesian depending on the sizes. However, the vast majority of problems were when there are no dups in i - that's now fully fixed and doesn't need any change.

If I understand the option correctly, I'd like the name mult.i. This would make clear that the option mult applies to x rows, not i rows (which I tend to forget).

@matthieugomez mult=. argument decides the number of matching rows to return. allow.i.dups decides whether to go ahead with the join if i has duplicate keys or not. I think mult.i therefore would be confusing..

Just to precise my thought: I was thinking of something like mult.i = "none", which could be manually switched to mult.i = "all". Similarly, mult could have a mult = "none" argument that returns an error if x has duplicates.

In terms of SQL the allow.cartesian is more meaningful.

The another option for name could be many-to-many, this is the term that is commonly used in SQL, even better than cartesian.

I assume you mean it is checked for duplicates inside bmerge via allLen1 flag. In #4370 it is extended to raise error directly from bmerge for mult="error" (#655).

we can just simplify the argument and do away with the limit altogether.

This is what I made in #4370, but for backward compatibility I added that as a new option "datatable.join.many" named after "many-to-many" joins, it is more strict than allow.cartesian, example in #4383 (test 49.1).
