The original app allows a user to keep track of travels with short, bullet-journal-style entries and was built using Ruby on Rails, with Bootstrap (https://getbootstrap.com/) and Bootswatch (https://bootswatch.com/) styling templates. For this project, I added a JavaScript frontend.
These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

Fork and clone this repository into your local environment.Then, run bundler in your terminal.
bundle install
Boot the rails server.
rails s
Then, copy and paste the "listening on..." server address into the url to access the web page.
