I am not sure about this. We already have scons for this task. I don't see the benefit of yet another build tool. Perhaps the sconstruct should be enhanced first. |

makes sense. i'm just more experienced with ruby than python, and had trouble getting scons to compile osrm on mac :-) |

i added a Rakefile which enables you to build the binaries by running 'rake' in the root folder. rake will recompile individual binaries depending on what .cpp and .h files have been edited. binaries will be placed in a 'build/' folder, which i added to the .gitignore file.
i updated my osrm brew formula, so it uses rake to build osrm.
