Hello Cyril, apart from the SmartSearch... Sorry, can't tell you anything about the feature and functionality. I've never tried it. PS: The recent search component download does not work for me. I could not create and save the respective MenuItem-Type. |

Hi
Adding custom fields to a Joomla article is great but the real need is to work with these added fields.
I didn't understand it well but could the Joomla blogs and list be filtered according to these custom fields ?
Using the Joomla search is not the same thing as the Joomla lists because of the Joomla router. How can we define a menu item that would display - for example - the list of "events" whose location (a custom field) would be Paris ?
Unless we can play with these fields to order and filter Joomla lists of articles, I don't see the purpose of addition fields. The real purpose of additional fields is the ability ot make enhanced sql queries.
thanks
cyril
