Instant search not working in dropdowns #313

Repro:

System > Languages > Add Languuage
Start typing the name of any languge( like Danish etc. > "danish" )

Expected: The items in the drop-down list are getting filtered out getting closer to "Danish" as you keep typing.

Actual:

No filtering in the list
Only the first letter appears as typed ("d" in this case) and then is kind of stuck
The top of the list is shown where only the "d" is highlighted (in bold) in the visible list items
