This is the first tagged release of the build and launch system for building Siebel container images. Going forward this will provide a simplified way to revert to an older code line should that be required.

Specifically 22.6.rc1 is the first release to coincide with release 22.6.

As far as the build and launch system is concerned, the primary changes here are

  • Switching from Oracle 12c to Oracle 19c
  • Switching from oraclelinux:7-slim to oraclelinux:8 as the base
  • Switching from cp to rsync for copying hot fix content
  • Introduction of process for creating custom registry.properties file for CGW

This is not the primary development location, and so not every detail will be captured here. Feel free to submit an issue if you find fault or are confused.
