overview

Indicator for warning about restricted access for GEN1 8-Channel pipettes north of modules in slots 1/3.

This isn't a general approach, IRL this restriction should apply to any slots north or south of temperature and to magnetic modules. But since module placement is restricted until you opt out of guardrails, we've decided to only handle this specific case.

design

It's the dotted line zone with "No 8-Channel GEN1 access" here: https://app.zeplin.io/project/5c87a3f55f998e3943ad5d38/screen/5d921684e4bb44026854804d

acceptance criteria

  • If you have a GEN1 multichannel pipette, show the on-deck warning on the deck in the slot above any module in slots 1 or 3
  • If you don't have a GEN1 multichannel pipette in your protocol, this does not show on the deck
  • If the experimental setting "disable module restrictions" is on, don't ever show this on-deck warning
