ResInsight will not start in Ubuntu

Got the error message:

Warning: Ignoring WAYLAND_DISPLAY on Gnome. Use QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland to run on Wayland anyway.
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in ""
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "wayland" in ""
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

has something to do with the display?

How did you install ResInsight? By using install from a binary package or a local build on your computer?

Install from binary

Build on local computer

Updated to Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS, now ResInsight works!
