Hello,
indeed I encounter the same problem in version 17.
The method "_get_default_mail_partner_cc_ids" does not exist or no longer exists.
Probably fix here, need review:

So as of right now, there's no way to add a BCC on odoo version 17.0 with this module, right?

It is setting the partner email but not the email? It can't send to the bcc.

The issue is marked as resolved, but it is not. The app cannot send the email to the bcc @pedrobaeza
