The REopt® optimization model can be accessed in 3 ways. The web tool version of REopt (https://reopt.nrel.gov/tool) is free and publicly available online. There isn't a downloadable version of this format, which allows easy interaction with the current optimization model. The REopt API (application programming interface) is also free and publicly available. It allows more flexibility for users who have software expertise to interact with the current model behind the web tool (https://github.com/NREL/REopt-API-Analysis/wiki). The version of the tool that can be downloaded is REopt Open Source. It is a free, open-source development version of the REopt API, which can be downloaded and customized. It also requires software expertise to use (https://github.com/NREL/REopt_API/wiki). |
