Ore Thumpers Draw Bogus Rocks #4678
Comments
Without more information I am unsure. I do however know of a bug if the dust from a final reaziled factory goes into the wrong device itll get deleted with no addition to the ore silo or points. Not sure if these are related. |
Yeah, need to get proper verification of this. |
I spent an evening with another player on a test server trying to get the ore production setup. Based on what I can see this bug can be confused with a number of different issues that plaque this system. As far as I can tell at the moment I have not seen these unusable boulders yet. Just several different ways my boulder disappears or doesn't process right as we tried to get the production setup going. Hell half the tool tips are just flat out wrong. I can't specifically replicate this and honestly the whole thing needs a good once over anyways. |
@DexeeXI Went through on the ore thumper side of things and I cannot verify this. Boulders produce materials any negative interactions with the boulder tech machines have been address I honestly think this can be closed. Only real thing I can think of is there is a global limit on how many boulders can exist at a time. If too many exist it might prevent new ones from spawning in. |

Ore thumper boulders are made of 'nothing' more often than they are made of anything, making them functionally useless, as they do not smelt in to any materials. This may be the same bug as Ore Vents not giving useful boulders.
