Firstly, something that I haven't identified yet is making the compendium darker or differently shaded, but not on all pages. It also dims everything else while the book is open to one of these pages. I can't narrow it down to even whether it's caused by an item, a location, a time of day, or an entity nearby. It also happens on all-text pages, so it's not the guardians causing it.

Second: discoloration of items. Pretty sure these crafting tables aren't supposed to be pink (verified that they are indeed vanilla crafting tables shown in the book) Everything is much lighter, or even an entirely different color. Again, only applies to some pages, and seems to change with mouseover.

Third: No cycling ore dictionary, leading to some possible confusion regarding materials. Also, when showing non-native items, they don't always have a proper background in the book, resulting in a strange xray effect.

Fourth: No support for multiple recipes, and no support for smelting recipes (even the vanilla furnace). If another mod adds a recipe for something that happens to appear first in NEI, the book will always show that, despite what the text may say, and if it's a furnace recipe, it simply shows the item by itself in the middle of the page. Suggestion: arrows to cycle through recipes, like how the structure pages cycle through layers.

Fifth: the compendium still has those damn taunting pages about the Caster blocks.

Is this still an issue in 1.10?

This is in 1.7.10. I have not used Growlithe's port much yet.

From what I can tell, the 1.7.10 version is no longer being updated, but I'll look into the issue if it persists into 1.10.

Does that x-ray effect occur without a texture pack installed?

Where is the 1.10 download? I haven't seen it.

You can grab the most stable version from Curseforge, or build a lovely cutting-edge version yourself from https://github.com/Growlith1223/ArsMagica2

That's a whole separate fork, though, Mithion's version is still 1.7.10, which is why I posted this here instead of over there.

I hadn't seen anything from Mithion regarding this, so I assumed he was still working on it, or Kolatra.

It's a possibility, but highly unlikely, considering that the last update to the 1.7.10 version was more than 6 months ago, and 1.7.10 itself is nearing antiquity anyway.
