Ok so I am playing on server with a friend, we both look into the table and can't see each other's shapes or modifiers.

Well, you can both open a Crafting Table and experience a similar bug. :)

This isn't intended - players should be able to collaborate when making spells.

I can confirm this is an issue, pretty large bummer when we found out we couldn't collaborate on spells. I recall in a previous version we could collaborate on spells. Anyone know if a past version of AM2 had collaboration that worked properly?

It's been a few versions...I think it was as far back as 1.3 that this feature broke.
