This works to resolve the underlying issue seen in MegaMek/mekhq#2332

I hacked together this as a discussion point, as I'm reasonably sure there is a much better way. It's stolen from MechFileParser::postLoadInit.

TODO:

  • extract this up into a common method
  • pull back down entity specific methods into their various TestXXX classes
