How do I setup the plugin path on a Mac?

I need help determining the file path...e.g. on Windows, is easy not so on the Mac.

Give me an example of file path on the Mac..I have the PDF file on my MacHD under user

Drag a image to browser , then you can find this image path in browser address bar

So when I add a pdf file to a mindmap by using [[..pdf]] link the annotated pdf window shows nothing? Am I missing a step here? Should I be doing something else with the linked pdf file?

Please remove file:// , only keep /Users/nigelthompson/Desktop/pdfjs

1. Using Mac Os, setup pc.pdfjs what you uploaded.
2. setting markmind -> PDF reader Path & Mac pdfjs Plugin Path (I've tried both of them and also tried each one)
   -> User/XXX/Downloads/pdfjs
   (tried another path. like, User/XXX/Vault/.obsidian/plugins/pdfjs , ~~/pdfjs/web )
3. Relaunch Obsidian
4. Nothing's changed. it just shows native system pdf viewer

What am i missing? Both Basic and Rich mode Mindmap is working good.

Please ensure pdfjs folder have these folders

I followed the instructions provided above on macOS but still getting an empty page when trying to open .pdf files.
I checked the format of the link (i.e., not file:///), and made sure that the 5 folders listed above are present in the pdfjs.
Please advise.

if you use M1 mac , you can try put pdfjs to your vault
