I do not understand what this links should tell me, nor do I understand why you want this change, but it certainly doesn't hurt updating a dev-dependency 🤷 |

Sorry for being so opaque! I tried to package this for Debian, and since we try to limit the amount of versions that we package for each package bumping this dependency reduced the amount of work I needed to do. And sending that patch upstream to you means that this change is backpropagated to the rest of the rust ecosystem. |
