v5.4.4.3 errors out when trying to log in. "Failed to send steam guard code with result DuplicateRequest" #2865

ASF just updated to version 5.4.4.3 when I ran it today, and now it won't log in. I tried multiple times, but each time I enter in a Steam Guard code, it gives me an error and closes a few seconds later. I haven't done anything to my ASF configuration since it was working smoothly with prior versions. Any idea what I might need to do to fix this? Or do I need to submit an issue? Actually I got a fix by myself. Basically, I just kept my steam guard open, and once you launch the archifarm executive, just read the code on your phone as fast as you can before that confirm page popping up. Without hitting "approve" on your device, directly input the temp code into the terminal, then you're good to go. |

I'm aware of the issue, next ASF version (5.4.4.4) will have improved login flow. For now, the recommended way is to grab 2FA code first (before ASF logs in), ignore the popup entirely (NOT approve/reject it on phone), then type the code in ASF. I'd also prefer Valve to not break ASF, but it is what it is. In the new version, you'll be able to approve the popup and just type "Y" in ASF to move on with the flow, and you'll also be able to input the code regardless of the popup. |

Ensure you are downloading the latest version by using Eventho I would suggest you to setup ASF 2FA maFiles on your config directory to avoid this kind of errors as described under: |
