So what's the plan now? Manually re-run the workflow first for the v0.6.6 tag; then once that completed and hopefully updated the website, do the same for v0.7.1 ?

Unfortunately, this PR is useless, as the change needs to be already present in a tag to enable manual workflows.
I would thus prepare one last v0.6.x release with some backports, including this PR. Then, I will release a v0.6.7 and we hope everything works then by itself. If not, we have this PR backported and can trigger the job by hand.

PS: I got rights last night, so this would not need to involve you (see slack message).
