Is it possible to use this for Font Awesome 6? #2

I would like to update my project to include Font Awesome 6.
Although I'm not using this package, as there is already a Font Awesome 5 package on CTAN, I would like to know if its possible to use this procedure to use Font Awesome 6 on LaTex, given that there is no such package for that in CTAN.

I created a fork of this repo, using the latest Font Awesome 6.
