Unable to attach file using 4.0_v_2.9.2.r7151.b7743c4d7
JabRef 4.0-dev
Linux 4.12.4-1-arch amd64
Java 1.8.0_144
Steps to reproduce:
Open jabref
...Select/right click entry in library
...Select "Attach file", navigate to and select a .pdf file
At this stage, the correct file path appears in the pop-up box and can be opened
5 Click "OK" - no icon in entry list, and no change in .bib file
Detail information:
There seem to be problems with OpenJDK and the default GTK Look&Feel. Using Metal L&F instead. Change to another L&F with caution.
Opening: /home/ian/my_db.bib

Thank you for reporting this issue. We think, that is already fixed in our development version and consequently the change will be included in the next release.
We would like to ask you to use a development build from https://builds.jabref.org/master and report back if it works for you.
The version should be ready in a couple of minutes
Many thanks, Christophe - yes, installing the latest development version
has fixed the problem. Thanks to you and the whole team for your hard work
on JabRef!
