Updating Waybar Config Doesn't Change Waybar

When I make changes to the [TOP] Default (which I do so by editing "~./config/waybar/configs/[TOP] Default"), nothing happens to the waybar.

For example, when I changed "modules-left": [ "hyprland/workspaces#pacman", ...] to "modules-left": [ "hyprland/workspaces", ...], and reload the waybar, that area keeps the pacman style.

Press SUPER CTRL B and set the layout to be [TOP] Default there. This updates the symlink ~/.config/waybar/config to point to the config you select in the menu.

I set my layout to [TOP] Default (and reset it with SUPER ALT R) but the problem remains.

copy paste output of

find ~/.config/hypr/ -type f -name 'v*' -exec basename {} \;

I have tried and all ok. It changes as it should

Please do the following.

edit [TOP] Default and save

load the config with SUPER ALT B

choose [TOP] Default

My dots version is v2.3.9 (installed yesterday).
Edited, loaded, etc. Same problem unfortunately.

I am writing to the [TOP] default file inside of the git repository on my file system. Is that the right location? I can't find another one.
