For Stability & Ease: I recommend using the AppImage, as the deb may depend on local system packages that may not exist on your system, but it's there to try if you'd really like to.
For Security: Verify the binary with my detached PGP Block and the binary's accompanied .sig file, it only takes seconds if you install Kleopatra!
