Trying to search a cask I got this error

$ brew cask search google
Error: undefined method `rename_taps_dir_if_necessary' for Homebrew:Module

We have been going through a lot of updates, lately. Could you please brew update && brew upgrade brew-cask, and try again?

Hi @sophiacodes !

I see you are running homebrew-cask 0.34.0, which is good, but (as @vitorgalvao says) brew update will make sure you are also running the latest version of Homebrew.

If you still have the issue, then this one is my job to fix.

Defend against unusual Homebrew setups

To aid in Tap transition.  Require Homebrew 0.9.5, rescue
`rename_tags_dir_if_necessary` (`respond_to?` won't work there
because `rename_tags_dir_if_necessary` is a private method.
