Fair enough. Would there be a problem putting a link in the release notes to the changelog? If not I can just close this PR and leave it as is. |

Well, the idea is to avoid maintaining a new link. As it's already placed in GitHub release page and in the changelog we won't add this one. |

This is just to keep the release notes section on the documentation site up to date with the notes in GitHub. If we are not going to update the site's release notes the other option is to point to the releases page on GitHub. Either way works for me.
