Do not merge until we decide when this changes will be required and until we figure out how are we solving the session persistence issue. |

We are phasing out this solution and instead using another strategy for the vizzuality client. I'm closing this PR since these changes won't be needed on the client. |

Since the client will live on as an in house testing environment I think this PR, since it works, is still interesting. Can we please keep it in DO NOT MERGE state for a bit longer... |
