This PR represents a feature developed long time ago and later ignored. This PR is meant to track the branch to easier see how the feature worked. Please do not delete or merge.
This particular feature was meant to make it possible to link two browsers showing the same workspace, so that actions on one are reflected on the other. This was meant for demos on googles large screens.
