Hi Florian

I have a vault hosted online on Google Drive with several plugins installed among one of them is Icon Folder.
I installed several icon packs and even a custom one. When I close Obsidian and come back, Icon folder doesn't see the packs anymore. The Icon Pack section in Options is empty. This is weird cause the packs are there on the Google Drive : G:\Mon Drive\Valombreuse FR.obsidian\plugins\obsidian-icon-folder\icons
The icons I set up are mostly gone. I can see some of them but not many.
My Icon Packs folder path is .obsidian\plugins\obsidian-icon-folder\icons which is correct.

  • When I want to change an icon with #change icon, the list is empty :/

Note : My custom icon pack "valombreuse" features 2312 icons.

Can you please help me out ?

Same problem since a while, still no correction, every time i restart Obsidian my custom icon packs disappear.

When you go to your Console in obsidian (View > Toggle Developer Console), do you see any errors or a message that your icon pack was loaded?

It seems like some icon or file in your icon pack might be corrupt. Because there are a lot of icons in your icon pack, it is hard to debug which icon might be corrupt. I will try to fix (and reproduce) this issue while developing v2.0.0 (#159). Thanks for reporting!

It seems like some icon or file in your icon pack might be corrupt. Because there are a lot of icons in your icon pack, it is hard to debug which icon might be corrupt. I will try to fix (and reproduce) this issue while developing v2.0.0 (#159). Thanks for reporting!

On my side I uninstalled the plug in and reinstalled it. I lost all my icons so i had to remake all the hundreds of entries :/
The problem does not occur only for custom packs but also to downloaded fontawesome etc... packs. All are missing.
The problem is still here. I still see icons I already set for notes and directories but I can't place more as the list is empty.

There is also a problem adding more icons to a pack : I select multiple icons and it fails to add them to an existant pack. It seems to happen if i select too many icons and when the pack is big. Is there a number limit into a pack ?

I do not find how to open the Obsidian console :/

There is no limit to adding icons to an icon pack. It can happen that your syncing service for your vault might cause all of these problems. We had some similar issues before with Obsidian sync.

+1 I have the same issue, all icon packs disappear after a restart, when I add them again there are a lot of "renamed" notifications. I don't use any sync services
