Opencore EFI | Mid Dec 2023

The 14.2 Sonoma release is here, and so is a new EFI after all the wait! This updated release has several bug fixes and updated kexts and ssdt's!

To get Broadcom working, additional patching with OCLP is necessary! see the readme file for more information.

Opencore 1.0.2 Sequoia Beta

Sequoia dropped a couple of months ago and OCLP just dropped an update that fixes the wifi on old Broadcom cards, so here is an updated EFI that works on the new Sequoia beta. everything seems to work just fine, except iPhone mirroring. must be unfinished I think. We'll have to wait it out.

Changes:

• updated Opencore and Kexts
• changed Alcid from 1 to 3 since I have been getting no sound on some boots

Opencore EFI | Mid July 2022

This release has fixed multiple stability and bug fixes. few to name:

• Type-C to HDMI dongle finally displays output. (Tested with 2 dongles, VIA and Realtek)
• Corrected AppleALC Codec for better sound quality, stability and prevents showing the 🚫 symbol
• Updated Opencore boot loader and the kexts

Opencore EFI | End May 2022

In this release I fixed a whole lot of stuff. but there is still a long way to go

• trackpad button now seem to work kinda. see issues for more details. just restart when the trackpad acts weird and it should work 50/50.
• brightness keys fixed
• battery readout, freeze and 'non-hp battery error' fixed
  and more I can't think of right now
