Please see #430 with regards to how to get started and what files are of interest. If you are using the beta version of the app, you will see that there is a Spanish translation in place (the file related to that is in the values_es directory). That translation was added last week by my 8yr old daughter who is bilingual, so definitely curious how good it is. Some of the those translations are not exact translations as she also simplified a couple of phrases. |

I will check this and run it by my daughter. I will tell you when we pull it in or if there is any feedback. I am on a trip right now, so it will be a couple of days. Right now, the apps don't support localization. We know this is a deficiency of our current implementation. |

No problem! The localization issue is also in Debian filesystems? I use UserLAnd before the Apps were implemented, so I have my Debian filesystem running that long ago |

@corbinlc was referring to localization of assets we download post-install, such as app names and descriptions. You can change the language of your Debian filesystem by following the steps found here: https://wiki.debian.org/ChangeLanguage |

You're right! I tried your suggestions, and due dpkg must be run as root, only that account is in Spanish (my user account remains in English) BTW Should I open a new issue, related to this problem?

Yes, please do file a new issue for this. We should adjust the locale based on the phones locale. That seems like a great feature to add. |

My daughter and I discussed your changes. You will notice that she went with most of it, but not 100% of it (see #533). We also recently found that some of our strings were not used any more. So, those have been deleted (sorry for the wasted effort). That being said, we found many new entries in English that don't currently have translations in Spanish. Would you help with this @MatiasMFM2001? If you are up for it, I will prep the .xml file to show you all the new ones...I will just leave english, so it is obvious. I have taught my daughter enough about our app for now, back to kid stuff, so I am looking to you to help with these new strings if possible. |

This app is simply great. I'd like to help programming it, but I don't have enough experience. So, I can help you at least improving Spanish translation. I've searched "Spanish" and "Language" in your Github repo (code section) with no results.
What exactly files do I need to modify, in order to create a Pull Request and update the translation?
Update: I found strings.txt file (in English). When I finish translating it, how do I send it back to you?
