Bug Description
Importing document results in extra line breaks, unmatched text color ("Master Script" not converted to white due to text color not originally selected to Automatic?) and bullet symbols

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Created a LibreOffice Writer document
  2. Saved as .odt and .docx
  3. Opened files in QPrompt with LibreOffice closed

Expected behavior
Formatting should match source document

These are 3 distinct issues on a single report:

  • Importing document results in extra line breaks
  • Highlighted color with Automatic text color respects automatic text color, but perhaps this shouldn't be the case
  • Bullet points being broken into more lines than the source material has
  1. Out of those, the first one has been addressed and should be fixed within 1.2. I'll consider this as a duplicate of Import adding breakpoints where there should be none #205 so discussion on this point should continue there.
  2. It was done this way by design, but I see this might've been a bad design choice. Let's tackle this later, for 1.3. This is a duplicate of Copying highlighted text with automataic color respects automatic color, but perhaps this shouldn't be the case #13
  3. The breaking bullet points need to be explored further. Let's focus this issue on that aspect and try to get it fix by 1.2. Nevertheless, this may as well also be a duplicate of Import adding breakpoints where there should be none #205, but we've yet to find out.
