As a user (who previously used Waffle)
I want to be able to edit tickets from FlightPlan
So that I don't need to navigate away to GitHub
And save time and not lose context
In order of (approximate) priority:
The ticket title
Add/remove labels
Assign/unassign users
Add/remove milestone
UI
Main question is whether users can edit the above from the ticket card, or have to open the modal, or a combination of both.
As a reminder, Waffle had inline editing of the title, but everything else was edited from the modal. Given the limited amount of space on a ticket card, that seems a reasonable division - although I found the inline editing of title not very discoverable (there was no indication/affordance, you only discovered it by accident), and it was easy to accidently trigger (by clicking on the title) when moving tickets around.
Out of scope
Editing description or comments Better to have a markdown preview mode? (and that adds complexity)
Adding comments For another time, ditto re: markdown preview mode
