Hi, thank you for reporting.
Have you tried to recompile the application? MellowPlayer uses some private
Qt API and require recompilation when a new Qt version is available

@ColinDuquesnoy recompiled mellowplayer, still can't launch. If that helps, I'm using Qt 5.11.0, and Linux 4.16.11. |

Looks similar to https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-68486 I'll need to modify the way listening history work (db is opened in main thread and operations are done in worker threads). |

I cannot reproduce the crash with Qt 5.11 from official Qt installer on openSUSE Leap 15. Qt 5.11 emits a lots of interesting warnings that I am going to fix, maybe this will help with @vanyasem issue. @vanyasem I am not sure the upgrade to Qt 5.11 is the cause of the issue, maybe there were some other packages that were updated as well that could cause the problem. Please post the content of your pacman logs (/var/log/pacman.log). |
