Summary
SUMMARY: Balance "The Churl now has a Baselard instead of a Makeshift Knife"
Purpose of change
The Makeshift Knife is a chunk of recycled stainless steel scrap metal. The Churl, being a medieval peasant, starts with a Makeshift Knife- the implication is that it's all they could afford to build or borrow. Where did a 14th century English peasant get STEEL to recycle in the first place, and why don't they have a real knife instead of scrap metal with a rag tied to it?
Describe the solution
The Churl now has the Baselard I added in #39711 to address this exact problem. The medieval peasant gets a historical medieval tool!
Describe alternatives you've considered
I could have easily gave them an existing primitive knife such as the Copper Knife, except the total lack of an iron 14th century hunting knife was irritating me.
