It makes more sense for the naturalist to have the much easier to make clay pot than a stone pot.

I mean, the “stone pot” recipe itself is ludicrous. Only 20 minutes to hollow out a stone into a container?

It’d be more realistic to make that recipe a lot more time- and skill-intensive, and add boiling quality to a lot more basic containers including leather waterskins and such to represent the “hot stone” method of boiling water.

Stone pot recipe was obsoleted a couple of days ago.
