Additional map features doesn't respect visibility #37951

Closed for lack of activity, but still valid.
The additional features tagging option tags features that can't possibly be seen, e.g. interiors of above ground labs, stuff around you when traveling at night without a floodlight, stuff in the subways.
Expected behavior
Ideally each kind of extra should have a degree of visibility. For starters though just having a check on whether the overmap tile was mapped would be a vast improvement. This wouldn't solve all cases (e.g. when downloading subway maps or when traveling by night through areas mapped via a lab console) but it would help.
