So, there are two issues here:

  1. When asked not to pulp via overrides any NPC currently performing will ignore your command. I have an inkling this applies to all overrides but most don't work properly for some reason, or I'm not misunderstanding them.
  2. NPCs who are currently pulping should assume you want them to stop pulping immediately, not finish pulping everything in sight (assuming that 1. is fixed)

Steps To Reproduce

Edit: Confirmed on world with no mods.

  1. Kill some Zs and wait for the NPCs to start pulping.
  2. 'C', 'o', 'p' to tell everyone to stop pulping corpses.
  3. Note who is currently performing or who has told you to wait for them to pulp a corpse. Watch them continue to pulp until their task is complete.
  4. Kill some more Zs. Note that previously performing NPCs continue to pulp.

Expected behavior

When I say stop I mean stop!
