Seem to be having trouble with branches at the moment (could be due to the fact there wasn't originally a gitignore file in this repo. Trying this on main.
Safe to delete, as they are generated when user opens project for the first time. Library files should not be committed in the first place.
Not needed, and in gitignore as well.
Do not commit user settings to git, as they pertain to individual settings.

Looks good to me. Probably not worth going deep into this one though, looking like we're going to be changing a lot of things.
